Kwikstage Galvanized Transoms

Transoms are key load-bearing components of the Kwikstage scaffolding system, spanning between ledgers to support scaffold planks and distribute weight evenly across the structure. Designed to fit securely into the “V” pressings on the ledgers, transoms lock firmly into position to create a rigid and stable working platform.

Our transoms are manufactured from high-strength structural steel and finished with a hot-dip galvanizing process, providing exceptional corrosion resistance for long-term performance in demanding outdoor environments.

The Kwikstage Galvanized Transoms are horizontal components that span between ledgers, providing support for scaffold boards and distributing loads to the vertical uprights. Constructed from 48.3mm OD galvanized steel (3.2mm wall thickness), these transoms feature welded end plates with precision holes for Kwikstage ledger pins, ensuring secure and vibration-resistant connections. Available in lengths from 0.6m to 2.4m, they are essential for creating stable platform surfaces in scaffolding systems.
